Mobile Media

The New Normal

iPhone, iPad, Google Nexus, Microsoft Surface, Windows Phone...these mobile devices have literally taken over the tech world. Statistics confirm the number of mobile devices, such as these, in use today now exceeds the world’s total populace! Consider some other shocking statistics provided courtesy of Cisco:

We believe these mobile devices have already begun to displace PC’s as preferred Internet surfing and media consumption devices for the majority of owners and are now competing (and beating) traditional outlets of broadcast media. Further, we believe the release of Microsoft’s Surface Pro has numbered the days of the desktop PC dominance, even in the enterprise environment. Consequently, everything we do, from media production to website development, is geared towards delivering the best possible mobile experience to the end viewer.

For media production, this means filming progressively in frame rates and resolutions friendly to Internet embedded media players. For website development, it means building fully responsive sites using media queries which permits auto-formatting of the site based upon the viewing device’s display capabilities. It takes a lot of work to format a website for all of these different mobile devices, but we believe it’s absolutely crucial to deliver a proper web experience to mobile users considering the above statistics and the fact that you only get one chance for a first time impression.

Contact us today to discuss how we can help your organization profit from these statistics and market directly to the mobile user!
